The Upper Blue Mountains has become very popular for special events with it’s beautiful rambling gardens, rugged mountains views and secluded bushland settings, complimented by the ever changing Blue Mountains weather which provides the backdrop for some gorgeous photography particularly Weddings, with many of the venues situated in and around the Bilpin District.
Our Mountain depot is well positioned to cater for your wedding guest transportation requirements, many guests travel from across NSW and interstate and have very little knowledge of the local roads. There are no street lights guide them and quite often the roads to the accommodations are of dirt construction and in need of maintenance, many couples prefer to arrange bus transport for them to take their guests to and from their wedding. This also allows guests to help celebrate their big day with a glass of bubbly or two, whilst giving peace of mind to the happy couple in the knowledge that they have provided a duty of care for their friends and loved ones.
Venues that we regularly provide bus transport to are:
- BilpinResort, Powells Rd – with a shuttle service provided between the Secret Circle & the Main Reception area
- Chapel Hill at Berambing
- Suzarosa also at Berambing
- Mt. Tomah Botanic Gardens, Mt. Tomah
With our combination of large and small buses we are able to advise which best suit your guests needs with the local knowledge of access to the side roads which is where the majority of the accommodation options are located, we also provide you with a detailed timetable for your guests, to ensure everyone makes it to the ceremony on time.
Accommodations generally booked by guests for their stay range widely in location from Windsor & Richmond, Kurrajong village, Kurrajong Heights, Bilpin, Mountain Lagoon, Berambing, Mt. Tomah, Mt. Victoria, Blackheath through to Katoomba. This is why we take the time to prepare each quote individually, based upon accommodation location, venue, number of guests travelling and the length of time your guests share in the celebrations with you.
Personalized Local Tours
Quite often guests prefer to stay & spend a few days in the Bilpin district and enjoy the ability to tour the local area together as a group without the hassle of navigating – to go sightseeing, visiting local gardens, enjoying a cuppa with something tasty at one of the many cafes or tasting the Apple Cider at the two Cider Sheds located in Bilpin – Bilpin Cider & Hillbilly Cider, then picking your own apples or nuts then buying an apple pie to enjoy later.
Our Rosa buses are perfect for these small group personalized tours, this area enjoys the four seasons which means the tours are always changing to take in the best of the time of year – flowers, fruit, views, food, cider, etc – we are guided by you to prepare a suitable itinerary to best suit your group.
